Interesting  finding using  several browsers!
whos heavy , whos light??




Look at the left : All most known browsers have been used to downaload  the same web page: Lyngsat's Hotbird 13E page

As it is shown Mozilla ver 1.7 is the most heavy with 58 KB

There are two operas:
The first (and lightest) is  Opera 3 , a very old version
The other  opera version is V7

Green browser  is a over-set for Internet Explorer ,previously known as MyiE , offers a very nice set of addons to IE

The standard explorer IE  though i very seldom use it, eats an  intermediate level of memory
