Zacharias radio and more monitoring site

Last  4 days of the week  we visited  the spas of Pozar  a place very close to the borders  with FYROM  for a  3+ 1 days of  resting The point can be found on goodle maps as below:

This was a idea  of my best man , who suggested  us not only visiting there but also doing some bath in these spas. However it was a bit unfortunate  that my wife was somehow unwell  with the conditions  to cancel our  visit and in the places . But  it was quite  good that my wife  was quite helped with  some drugs  that  restored her in just 2 days…

Anyway , next day Thursday , we did the trip , a bit late leaving from ca 10 o clock completely ‘armed’ except  taking our  bath  suits. Though  the trip  was  about 90 kilometers from  our city, our  trip dured ca 2 hours , as we drove  relatively slow and passed Edessa , 20 km more than the expected  length …

 

 

     

This is our hostel. It is  outside the village before the spa placeReaching  the hostel it was a  little peculiar . Just reaching the man called us  (!)how to enter into them. In  very short time we found him and left all things on the room and left the  hostel in order to eat a bit as we were hungry , by  looking the tavern our best man told

The tavern is located in a small  nearby village ca 2 km .Photos are from the bext day we tripped a bit

 

 

 

The  above picture shows the  mini river   inde the village  on Orma (map), the village wher the   best tavern is located and as by our best man is  the best of the area . Look below: 

The tavern was on the Orma village , about 2 km from the hostel southwards . And we found it after asking  several people of the  village.

The portions  were quite large  but my  wife was not  well so that  she ate  a little . So we kept remain with us

On the evening  we took a rest , mostly in order to help my wifeNext day , we stared sightseeing .After the breakfast we left the hostel and visited Pozar (link to the photo album for more ) , ie the spas , (map) which were  quite close, about 3 km  , but preferred  to use the car . The spas  were on relatively high elevation 

 

The area was magnificent  so that  I made  several  videos and photos that can be shown  on the photos part of  my blog  .FYI  as you enter the  area , on the lower part of the spas theer is the  river with minor waterfalls  , that includes a hot water drop , next to the river, private spas inside the building next to the river, massage  etc.
ON the top of the building is a  restaurant  which was vacant that time  we reached.The hot waterfalls cost about €2 and  are shown on the bottom  of the above pictureAs you rise on the place , there is a piscine  with hot water  too ,and a nearby bar  

 

  But also  there was some space for tripping across the  river  

 

 

And next after looking at the whole  place we looked a bit on the market ,(link to the album ) 1 km to more sightseeing . That palce  contains several ministores with traditional

We returned back to the hostel, after the lunch on the same restaurant as previous  day,   for some relax.  Little  later I tried  to listen to the radio. Read on the next  post for the radio logs !Next day Saturday  we again left the hostel  and visited  the whole Pella prefecture. Our route was mainly on  roads  nearby the borders looking the villages , with target  the village Archagelos  40 km far from the hostel eastwards, on the mountains  .

But the path to this  village  was under reconstruction and we  returned back using a different path. butr there was  nothing to take photo shotsOn the evening , I again   tried  to listen to the radio using another  idea. Again  read to the next article  here for the logsBut the day was gradually colder  by the night and  got inside for readingThen on Sunday  was the return day.

After the breakfast and collecting everything ,  we passed  through Edessa (on th map ), the capital of the prefecture and visited the waterfalls . one of the most important sightseeing of  the city. The album ….. contains all the  pictures  from the waterfalls  (map link )

The car has been  left nearby and at the  firs you can see is a nearby small market wher you can  buy anything , then befre yu can reach  the waterfall , there is first a restaurant then you passs thoru stairs to go down , with 3 series of 'floors' . There is also the aiblity  to pass below  the wates , where you can take your pictures

Also worth of looking  is the mini cave which is on same floor you can pass below the wates 

 After looking it we stood for a  little on the restaurant and then returned bavck toour home. That time our trip has been completed in just 1 hour except for a  short interval in Chlkidona , al pace well known  for its suvlakis (kebab )
